C. Peter Wagner

C. Peter Wagner is one of the most prominent leaders of the apostolic-prophetic movement. Wagner coined the term “New Apostolic Reformation” and has written numerous books promoting its teachings, including Churchquake! (Regal, 1999) and Changing Church (Regal, 2004).

Organizations he has founded include the International Coalition of Apostles (of which he is the “presiding apostle), Global Harvest Ministries, and the Wagner Leadership Institute. He also co-founded the World Prayer Center.

Wagner was a professor of church growth at Fuller Theological Seminary for 30 years.

Quotes: “”In many ways the year 2001 was a significant year, not the least of which is that it marked the beginning of the Second Apostolic Age.” (Changing Church, page 9)

“We are now seeing before our very eyes the most radical change in the way of doing church since the Protestant Reformation. In fact, I think I could make a reasonable argument that it may actually turn out to be a more radical change.” (Changing Church, page 10)”
