Love your site…. and sight!
That being said, one of the problems with critique blog-sites, is just about no one sees a way up and out… To give an example, suppose the US’s Founding Fathers could blog about King George…. but did not recognize (and LOVE) each other? They’d just build up arguments against the solutions God gave them…. However, they DID recognize and love each other.
Can you point to ameliorative websites that point the way out of the mess?
It takes PAIN to get out of the mess. I put forward the thought that pioneers of the future must accept the fact that gross waywardness from cogent orthodoxy….. have resulted in the obviously gross distortions seen in broadcast Christianity.
Thus, some of us can abandon PROSPERITY-GREED doctrine. But we cannot abandon its equal opposite, which is RAPTURE-FEAR doctrine? Because greed catches the prosperity-lovers-of-mammon. What does Satan have for the fearful? Why, Satan has fear! And fear is found at the bottom of rapture doctrine.
Now, both rapture and prosperity are doctrines the orthodox eschew! Well, what do you know! Those orthodox…. they are on to something!
Eschew LOUSY doctrine…. and you start seeing the way UP and OUT!
What IS the way UP and OUT?
Well, it is manifesting Christ…. and honoring that in the next person…. who honors Christ!
See, we get trapped into playing “smash the mole.” Sure, there are a lot of moles to smash.
But what is the global problem? Basically, it is a celebrated persona-glorified preacher…. keeping the lights shot out of his sheep!
What is the reverse? A humble leader who teaches how Christ wants to manifest Himself in every man, woman and child on earth…. via the worship of God in Spirit and Truth!
Make sense to you? Or is it too much price to pay… to keep holding on to doctrines not supported by Christ’s manifest presence in….. people who shame us! (By their saint-hood!)
(Saint-hood that ain’t supposed to come now, because we’re waiting for a utopia that won’t come! i.e. utopia of prosperity to all (illogical) or rapture of the believers-of-rapture-amongst-the-Christians-who-don’t-believe-and-will-be-left-behind (also, illogical.)
Basically, the goal is to get Christ’s mind going…. in vast territories that heretofore have been logic-free-zones of misunderstood hell-for-heaven swapping!
