Holly,
Thanks for sharing the Truth in the days of growing darkness. Shining light on this topic in hopes of warning, helping, healing those trapped in those errors has been my passion for nearly 6 years. You assesment and knowledge and passion on this topic is genuine and true and I can confirm what you say (not that you need me to, but just for encouragement). Please visit my blog at myspace. It is the only means I have to communicate and teach or heal or enable the Children of God out of various pitfalls they are finding themselves in. God Bless

peace in the name of Jesus Christ

Holly said "As Paul warns, I can have all knowledge in the world — including all doctrinal knowledge (which I certainly don’t have) — but, without love, I’m just making a lot noise. I don’t want to be a noisemaker."

Love is not a feeling or emotion, love is truth.

This means that speaking the truth IS love, and those that don't want the truth scream because they don't love the truth!

blessings,
Sarah

I LOVE this... BEAUTIFUL...AND SOOOOO TRUE! Thank you for reminding me how READY we need to be!!! We CANNOT go about our lives - shopping, get togethers with friends, going out on the weekends, tv shows & running errands and fussing over all our duties here & there(and even WORRY-which we are not supposed to do by the way- about financial things, etc...)and everything else that we get caught up in that KEEPS US from drawing NEARER to Him...To where we put God on the back burner! HE MUST come first!

I believe a lot of the thinggs here on earth are DISTRACTIONS... Even if you're not living in outright sin- you can easily get caught up in fashion, fancy cars, beauty, pride, 'caring what everyone else thinks about you and not so much what God thinks about you'... etc.

People should spend more time wondering what they're doing that makes HIM happy and what they're doing that GOD would not like them doing and that upsets HIM and stopping doing it! ... Because it says in the Bible 'Every hidden thing will be brought to light'

This includes pornography and sodomy that even married people do in their rooms...It says to keep the marriage bed pure and undefiled! I just felt I should include this because I feel sadly the devil has convinced people IF they are being faithful to their spouse, they can get as 'nasty' as they want... But Gods Word clearly says we are to be pure in ALL conduct.

You should add my email to your updates or whatever... I would really like to read more of your blogs like this one! THanks! -Catrina-

PS...Dont listen to these people who trashtalk...Because speaking of prophetic things, my daughter who was 7 years old at the time- it was about 6 mos or so ago- had a vision of the catching away of the church up to Christ in the sky! She said everyone was wearing 'shiny' clothes!

Most critics doubt sings and wonders, or want them to manifest the way they think would be right. Which is actually unbelieve in that God can move the way He wants to. Most critics doubt ministers and label them 'false' prophets or whatever, because they don't agree on certain points. In doing this, you throw away the baby with the bath water.

Please stop being a fool, God is not mocked. He who judges, will be judged himself. Why not trust the Holy Spirit and rely on the Lord and His angelic hosts to be the police force within the body of Christ?

So, let's live the truth of the Bible and stop pointing fingers. We will be accountable only for that which we ourselfs have said or done. The day of reconing is coming, also for you doubters and critics!

um....would you consider your dream prophetic? or simply an overdose of coffee and wedding magazines?
Just a thought - because I am slightly confused as to how your dream is any different to one by someone labeled as 'apostolic-prophetic'?

If God is infinite do you not suppose he has an infinte number of things to say? John 21v25
And these may very well be communicated through dreams, visions, angels, prophets and well even a donkey?

Just a thought
Great blog by the way - it is sad how some people can't take a joke. and how others are just downright NASTy!

Hi Holly,

An addendum to the last post.

I am on the horns of a serious dilemma and you may be able to help me out. If I sow Starbuck coffee beans, can I get my seven-fold return in raspberry mocha frappuccino or would that be too much of a paradigm shift? Just thought I'd ask.

Dear Holly,

Your blog is a breath of fresh air. My sister has sadly been caught up in the apostles and prophets movement for some time now and I find your posts on that subject in particular to be insightful, scholarly and well-written.

I LOVED the top 7 prophecies for 2007 (though I'm still waiting to see if more Wal-Marts do indeed appear in more cities ... JUST KIDDING). The Lord has raised you up for this hour, Holly. Your voice is much needed. I agree with my friend Stan (previous post). Your blog is not mean-spirited at all and the top 7 prophecies were not either. Your use of satire was approporiate and effective.

In Eccl. 3, we're reminded that there is a season for everything and a time for every purpose under the heaven. There is a time to refrain from embracing, a time to rend, a time to speak, a time for war. Holly, this is your time to speak. The Lord has given you this platform and I believe He is using you in ways you are probably not aware of. Keep fighting the good fight and contending for the faith and know that there are many fellow believers in many places who appreciate you and benefit from the fruits of your labors in His Name.

Dear Holly,

Don't apologize for your satirical prophecies. Those celebrity pretenders like Hamon, Wagner, Pierce, Joyner, Sheets deserve that and worse with their preposterous posturing (alliteration deliberate). You pinned them to the wall with those. I said, "Go get 'em, Holly." Remember that Elijah mocked the prophets of Baal with searing sarcasm and Paul used sarcasm in 2 Corinthians 11 and 12, for examples. Even Jesus used it on the Pharisees in Matt. 23:24. There is a time and occasion for it, and it's way overdue in the church. These deceivers are getting away with theft and murder with not a peep from the pulpits. Remember that John 10:10a is not about the devil, it's about men in leadership.

So, keep fighting the good fight. When you need to use sarcasm, employ it. You are not a mean person, so I don't think you would ever use it to hurt the hurting. However, use it to "smart" those smart-alecks.
