You cannot understand spiritual things with a carnal mind so get on your knees where you belong and in the word of god, prayerfully so you begin to receive revelation, then you won't be someone who has a form of godliness but denies its genuine power. Jesus said "THE WORKS I DO WILL YOU DO ALSO AND GREATER WORKS." All of the people you attack walk in the power of GOD and you don"t FOOL.

Greetings Kim,
My name is Harriet Devore and I'm a Prophetic Artist. I pray that you will stay encouraged, and not be afraid. Just to confirm that the Lord is speaking and sending the same message.
On January 2008 , I was in the spirit when I drew a picture called the Second Woe. The Holy Spirit showed the economy, Star Bucks which represents big business, chaos, confusion and the words God See's. My second peice came five months later in May'08. The Spirit of God showed me the new energy, and how it would be contain. This picture shows Hot air balloons as a means of transportation and a container with flowers that look like the star of david. This container would be able to contain the energy that the goverment is looking for. The picture also shows three of the cars that will be used by the car company (GM will be one of the companies that will lead the world in the promotion and manufactoring of these futuristic cars that will fly). Don't worry and don't be afraid of their faces, The scripture that says the first will be last and the last will be first, the shaken have begun, and God will be glorified. Sit back and behold, what thus saith the Lord. I will send you the two pictures that I spoke of today on 11/05/08.

Since I am a steward for my own soul first, I'll read and study the Word, pray, fast and give. I'll leave the rest up to God as He counsels me with His Holy Spirit. Things get messy when we follow other men and not the Christ, who gives us His Holy Spirit.
God, help me.

I just saw this article after doing a search for Kim Clement, having just seen him perform on TBN a little while ago. I was curious to know who this person really was and it's been very enlightening. These entries have also covered extremes in beliefs and I feel moved to say something even though this seems that it has gone on for quite a while. So maybe no one will even read this but if just one person does...

The Bible is very clear on the true tests of a prophet and it is very important for us to be educated about this so that we are not deceived by every man claiming to be from God. God has shown mercy over and over again (See the stories of Adam and Eve, Abraham pleading for Lot in Sodom & Gomorrah, King Hezekiah...) That's why we are not consumed and that's why some prophecies seemed to not come true. But one must study the Bible to understand the circumstances of those events. Today I studied the story of Jonah and got new insights into the lessons God intended for him (and us) to learn. Here was a prophet who disobeyed God, went through a nightmare experience, and then obtained mercy and a second chance at life from God. He truly expected that God would destroy the people of Nineveh after all he went through to bring the prophecy to them. But the people who hadn't realized the errors of their ways before Jonah came, listened and repented. God forgave them and showed mercy. Did the prophecy not come true because God didn't destroy Nineveh? Absolutely-it did. God's word was clear- He asked Jonah to warn the people of their fate. If God wanted to destroy them immediately because of their wicked ways, he would have just done it. Why warn them? That was to give them an opportunity to make a different choice- an opportunity to ask for mercy. The same is true in the story of the Flood when Noah warned the people of what seemed impossible at the time- torrential rains to the point of flooding. It made Noah look foolish (serving God sometimes requires us to step out of our comfort zone) but God’s word came true- He destroyed the earth and only the people and animals in the ark were saved. Contrast that with Sodom and Gomorrah- the people were not warned- only Lot and his family (except his wife) were saved and that was a result of Abraham’s pleading with God not to destroy the righteous with the wicked.

So we have to be careful of who we listen to and who we believe. Everyone who claims to love God is not of God and if the prophecy doesn’t come from God, then it’s coming from the devil. It may be hard to reconcile that with someone who is singing and writing songs about Jesus but if you are not being used by God, there is no other alternative. Even the devil can quote scriptures… It may not mean that the individual is purposely looking to lead others astray or working against God, but if they are prophesying for fame, reputation or any other such recognition, then it’s coming from ‘self,’ which doesn’t reconcile with God. If we think that the solution is to accept everyone and not judge but try to get along then we are headed for trouble. God asks us not to judge so that we do not condemn another person for their sins because we are all guilty. However, the Bible doesn’t contradict itself and the same Bible warns us of shunning false prophets. That must mean we must exercise judgment and caution because we are dealing with our spiritual safety. It is the same judgment and caution that we are expected to exercise because God gave them to us to keep us physically safe. The Bible warns over and over of false prophets, so let’s not ignore those warnings and guidelines. We have seen what has happened to prophets who disobeyed (See 1 Kings Ch 13)- that’s how exacting God is of people given the responsibility of delivering His word. Notice also how the prophecy even in the form of a dream was never subject to the prophet’s own interpretation- there is a reason. God uses the prophet as a vessel- he doesn’t need an interpreter. And by the way, He is the only one that can interpret dreams.

The Bible is also quite clear that we are to respect God’s anointed. That’s where the conflict comes in with all of these people who claim to be called to this ministry. The only way that we can know for sure is by studying God’s word for ourselves and working on a daily relationship with Him. Can we influence God? Yes. Command? Are you kidding me- that we should be so bold. Remember how Moses struck the rock for water… Our prayers are heard by God- who really listens to our cries for help. That’s why we ought to have faith- which is really tested when it seems impossible. God still performs miracles, even today. God will not however perform on cue like a trained circus act so that others can be entertained or that man will be glorified. Again- refer to the story of Moses striking the rock. That’s what is so wrong with televised modern faith healing- that’s not how God performs. Healing comes from God. Let’s encourage each other to read and study our Bibles so that we will be ready to stand because it’s not peace but war-a spiritual war on the horizon that will test our faiths for Him.

Can you all imagine what the world would be like if every religion was as divided as the Church.
We are the ONLY one's who are in such a mess, and we're supposed to be shining lights in a dark world.
I'm lost for words!!!

I think Kim himself says it best in his March 2008 newsletter entitled, "The Chaotic Randomness of Pure Experience".

"There are many lazy people in the Church, and for them, the easiest way to hear God is to be fed by someone who is “close” to God. Psychics are extremely popular in the world because people don’t know how to hear for themselves, and so they hope the psychics will deliver a message about their present state or their future. Unfortunately, this mindset has crept into the church and actually, the prophet has been demoted to a spiritual psychic. The fact is that the only reason that it is important that you hear God speaking to you is so that you can become a voice yourself - an expression NOT an opinion. Don’t be hasty to speak on God’s behalf for there is always time to utter a word but never time to take it back."

and...

"How many times have I been asked; “So what is God telling you about me?” and I’ve answered, “I don’t know, but I know what He’s telling me about ME.” .. "The only way that you can be fed and then led, is to feed on God’s Word."

Personally, my relationship with God is close enough to hear Him for myself. My desire is to KNOW the scripture and I have made it my goal to read, study, and understand what the Word says and means. The only way you can know God's will for a situation, is to know His Word. By properly knowing His Word, you are also in a position to be able to GIVE ADVISE for someone else, i.e. "What does God's Word have to say about it?". However, the best advise is, "My opinion is based on my interpretation of the Word. I might be wrong so seek God yourself by shutting of the voices around you and opening the bible!"

There are too many people seeking God's will in the opinions or prophecies of others. You can get yourself in a lot of trouble that way!

God Himself sends lying spirits to prophets to intentionally guide them in the wrong direction. His purpose? To teach men that He is the only voice that they should trust and to not put your trust in man! See 1 Kings 22.

These posters don't "lack faith that God can do what HE says He can do". They lack the faith that Kim Clement is speaking as God's representitive. The majority of these posters and others who are concerning themselves with the authenticity of Kim Clement and others like him, as being "true" prophets of God, are only doing what the Lord expects them to do. That is to test them according to the Word of God to see if they are what God has sent for them to follow. The Lord does not expect us to follow every wind of doctrine or every word spoken by someone claiming divine authority. That would be foolish of us. It's foolish to even suggest that.

Without taking the time to identify truth from falseness, having the attitude of, "Let's just all get along and stay in unity like God expects", we are not fulfilling the rest of the Word by guarding ourselves from falseness. To say we are not to judge another man's words spoken in the name of the Lord, is entirely not scriptural and is taken out of context, usually by the ones whose words are being examined. On the contrary, we are to judge. 1 Cor. 14:29, "Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge." Acts 17:10, "Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true."

Mark 14:5-6 "And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many." Jesus isn't warning us of false Christ's here, as if men are going to pretend and claim to be Christ. He's saying many shall come admitting that Jesus is the Christ, but will decieve with falseness.

The problem with Kim Clement, and many other 21st century prophets, is that their prophecies are inaccurate or do not come to pass altogether. It's obvious to me that Kim Clement is speaking presumptuously on almost every occasion. However, the fruit of his ministry, of which I have experienced first hand, is of more concern than waiting hopefully for his prophecy's to be fulfilled.

I believe in spiritual gifts. I also believe and am fully cognizant of spiritual and fleshly influences that pervert the true gifts. My opinions are not as a result of what I've read or merely heard. They are from what I have experienced first hand.

To: Not Tossed. If the guy who has kidney problems is still alive, there is still hope. I prayed for a guy who had full blown aids and was in hospice & was given less than 8 hrs to live 3years ago. He is still alive and doing well."

Although I can appreciate when the Lord responds favorably to our prayers, I can also appreciate that this man, who is without kidneys, is not going to get new ones in this physical life. There is hope, as you said, however there is also reality. This reality causes Kim's presumptuous prophecy to be nothing more than false hope. Those who have faith in this false hope, are deceived. Their faith is not in God but in the prophecy's of Kim Clement. This is what the Word warns us about.

These posters don’t “lack faith that God can do what HE says He can do”. They lack the faith that Kim Clement is speaking as God’s representitive. The majority of these posters and others who are concerning themselves with the authenticity of Kim Clement and others like him, as being “true” prophets of God, are only doing what the Lord expects them to do. That is to test them according to the Word of God to see if they are what God has sent for them to follow. The Lord does not expect us to follow every wind of doctrine or every word spoken by someone claiming divine authority. That would be foolish of us. It’s foolish to even suggest that.

Without taking the time to identify truth from falseness, having the attitude of, “Let’s just all get along and stay in unity like God expects”, we are not fulfilling the rest of the Word by guarding ourselves from falseness. To say we are not to judge another man’s words spoken in the name of the Lord, is entirely not scriptural and is taken out of context, usually by the ones whose words are being examined. On the contrary, we are to judge. 1 Cor. 14:29, “Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge.” Acts 17:10, “Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.”

Mark 14:5-6 “And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” Jesus isn’t warning us of false Christ’s here, as if men are going to pretend and claim to be Christ. He’s saying many shall come admitting that Jesus is the Christ, but will decieve with falseness.

The problem with Kim Clement, and many other 21st century prophets, is that their prophecies are inaccurate or do not come to pass altogether. It’s obvious to me that Kim Clement is speaking presumptuously on almost every occasion. However, the fruit of his ministry, of which I have experienced first hand, is of more concern than waiting hopefully for his prophecy’s to be fulfilled.

I believe in spiritual gifts. I also believe and am fully cognizant of spiritual and fleshly influences that pervert the true gifts. My opinions are not as a result of what I’ve read or merely heard. They are from what I have experienced first hand.

I am reading some of these comments and can see that what most of the authors of these posts lack is faith in their God. Your grievances are not with whether Kim Clement is a false prophet, it is Can God really do what he says he can do.

On judgment day you will only be accountable for yourself and not Kim Clement or anyone else for that matter. You cannot blame someone else for your unbelief in God.

I will be praying that each of you get a new revelation about who God is and what he is capable of doing.
